Shane D. McGrath, CPA

Mr. McGrath holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a focus in Accountancy and a Master of Accounting degree from the University of Georgia.

Before joining Bridges & Dunn-Rankin in 2022, Shane worked with the Big Four firm EY for approximately three years in Atlanta. While at EY, he worked in the National Federal Tax Service group, which served some of EY’s most prominent corporate clients in various industries. After EY, Shane worked with Invisors as a Financial Accounting Software Consultant. At Invisors, he worked with companies to transition them from their legacy accounting system to Workday’s financial accounting software.

Professional affiliations include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants, Workday Financials Certified, and Workday Advanced Reporting Certified.

On a personal note, Shane and his wife Sofia reside in Virginia Highlands where they enjoy Piedmont Park, the Beltline, and the Highlands. He is a big UGA dawgs fan, active with Christ The King Catholic Church, and part of an intramurals volleyball league.
